Northeast Contractors, Inc. completed the site work for the Lakeview Amphitheater project for
The project began in January 2015 and was completed in August of 2015. Northeast Contractors, Inc. was selected for this project due to the complexity and fast track requirements of the project which had to be completed in 8 months for the first scheduled concert in August of 2015. The project was built on a “Solvay Waste” dump which is the by product of soda ash manufacturing. Solvay Waste has the consistency of tooth paste and is highly susceptible to moisture.
This was a 40 acre site and included 98,000 cubic yards of Solvay Waste excavation to onsite stockpile, importing over 200,000 cubic yards of Gravel, Stone and fill, 32,000 linear feet of drainage, sewer, water and electrical installation, Amphitheater foundation and slab preparation and installing over 400,000 square feet of stone dust drives, parking areas and walks.
The total project value was $55,000,000.00 with a site work value of $15,689,359.00. The first concert was held as scheduled.
